PostHog

Purpose: Product analytics, activation funnels, channel attribution, session replay, and error tracking
Data collected: Page visits, in-product events, anonymous device identifiers, error stack traces, breadcrumb logs, and (when analytics consent is granted) sampled recordings of in-browser interactions (with text content and form inputs masked by default). For authenticated users, your Clerk user ID is also sent.
Routing: Browser events are sent to our domain t.rcamap.com and forwarded to PostHog via a Cloudflare reverse proxy, so analytics traffic appears first-party
Duration: Up to 1 year
Consent: Session replay starts only when analytics consent is granted. Error tracking runs as a necessary service-health function and is not gated by the analytics cookie banner.
Opt-out: Decline analytics in the cookie banner; PostHog analytics and replay default to opted-out until consent is given

Vercel Analytics

Purpose: Aggregated page-view and traffic measurement
Data collected: Page views, referrer, country, device type (no cross-site tracking identifiers)
Duration: Up to 30 days for raw data; aggregated metrics retained longer
Opt-out: Vercel Analytics does not set tracking cookies; you can additionally decline analytics in the cookie banner

3.3 Performance Cookies

These cookies help improve Service performance:

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Authentication: Clerk.com

4.3 AI Services

AI providers (Google Gemini, and LangSmith for LLM tracing when enabled) do not set cookies on rcamap.com but may process data when you use AI features.

4.4 Product Analytics, Session Replay, and Error Tracking: PostHog

PostHog sets first-party cookies and uses local storage to identify return visits, attribute traffic sources, stitch event sessions, and correlate errors. Browser events are routed through our domain t.rcamap.com via a Cloudflare reverse proxy before being forwarded to PostHog. Review PostHog's cookie policy at posthog.com/privacy.

Session replay is enabled only when analytics consent is granted. Error tracking runs as a necessary service-health function and is not gated by the analytics cookie banner.

4.5 Hosting: Vercel

Vercel and Vercel Analytics may set technical first-party cookies for routing, security, and aggregated traffic measurement. Review Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

4.6 Reverse Proxy / CDN: Cloudflare

Cloudflare routes analytics traffic sent to t.rcamap.com to PostHog and provides CDN and security services for the Service. Review Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. How to Control Cookies

PostHog and Vercel Analytics:

Decline the "Analytics" category in the in-app cookie banner (open it via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer). This stops PostHog analytics collection and session replay. Error tracking continues as a necessary service-health function.
